National Guard To Return To San Juan County For COVID-19 Vaccinations

Registration Opens TUESDAY APRIL 20th at 9am
In a piece of very welcome news, the same WA National Guard team that vaccinated 2,000 islanders in February and March will be returning to the islands at the end of April to help vaccinate an additional 3,100 individuals.
-Registration for these clinics will open on Tuesday April 20th at 9am. Go to https://www.sanjuanco.com/1737/COVID-Vaccine-Info at 9AM on Tuesday April 20th. There will be links clearly marked for each clinic.
-Eligibility for these clinics will be open to ALL islanders age 18 or older.
-First dose clinic dates will be: MONDAY APRIL 26th on SAN JUAN ISLAND (2nd dose on MAY 24th) TUESDAY APRIL 27th on ORCAS ISLAND (2nd dose on MAY 25th) WEDNESDAY APRIL 28th on LOPEZ ISLAND (2nd dose on MAY 26th)
-The vaccine being provided will be the Moderna vaccine and requires second doses. Anyone who signs up must be available 4 weeks later for their second shot.Looking forward, these clinics will be the very best opportunity for all eligible (age 18 or older) islanders to receive their COVID vaccine.
