Compass Health to Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting June 18th
posted 4 months ago by firstname.lastname@example.org from San Juan Island Community Foundation
As a behavioral health provider, we see the effects of racism, discrimination, and trauma on mental health. The events of the past few weeks, in addition to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, reinforce the importance of community mental health services. At Compass Health, we are committed to serving the vulnerable members of our community, including those who are overlooked and underserved by traditional health systems.
Experts anticipate the next few months will bring a wave of evolving mental health needs, coupled with greater demand for community safety net services among those who have slipped into poverty or homelessness.
How is Compass Health – and our broader community safety net – prepared to meet these challenges?
Join Compass Health for a virtual town hall on Thursday, June 18th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. for a discussion with organization leaders on this important topic. To register, click here.
